Strictly’s Sara Davies shares new snaps from Adam Peaty’s exclusive wedding

Strictly Come Dancing star Sara Davies has shared a glimpse into the exclusive wedding of Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay, as she posts a series of unseen snaps from the A-list attended event

Sara Davies has revealed some exclusive behind-the-scenes snaps from Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay’s star-studded wedding ceremony, which was packed with celebrity guests.

The Strictly favourite posted a collection of never-before-seen images from the special day on her Instagram, describing it to followers as “a fab day”. The ceremony took place at Bath Abbey in December, though notably, most of Adam’s relatives were not in attendance.

One photograph captured Sara – who struck up a friendship with Adam during the 2021 series of Strictly Come Dancing – sharing a laugh with fellow Strictly stars Dan Walker as they enjoyed the reception dinner. A separate image showed wedding guests enthusiastically waving their white serviettes overhead as the happy couple made their entrance.

The Dragons’ Den star was also pictured alongside Holly’s sister, Tilly, during the evening celebrations. Sara wrote alongside the images: “Awwww just been sent the pics from the Peaty-Ramsay wedding – what a fab day! So grateful to have been there with @adamramsaypeaty and @hollyramseypeaty to celebrate such a wonderful day.”

Sara extended her gratitude to Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tanya for being “amazing hosts”. Holly replied to the post, saying: “Loved celebrating with you!!” Whilst numerous fans praised Sara’s stunning appearance, others couldn’t help but notice the notable absence of Adam’s family members at the celebration, reports the Mirror.

One fan penned: “Wonder how Adam’s mum must be feeling seeing celebs at her sons wedding and she not there as a mum must be awful.”

Another added: “Not such a great day for his family though was it. But at least you all enjoyed it.”

A third weighed in: “So sorry but I cannot get over Adam’s mam and Dad missing their big day!! So very sad!” Sara’s post emerges as reports suggest that Adam Peaty’s estranged family are “trying to move on” following their massive family rift.

Caroline and Richard Peaty were absent from their son’s nuptials – with Adam’s mum reportedly not receiving an invitation whilst his dad could allegedly only attend if relegated to the back pews. “It’s been a really emotional time for them as a family,” a source revealed to The Sun.

“They’re coming to terms with what has happened and that Adam has picked his side.”

The insider continued: “They’re keeping their heads down and trying to move on quietly. It’s clear Adam’s made his choice.”

On the eve of her son’s ceremony at Bath Abbey, Adam’s mum Caroline spoke of how his decision to sever ties had left her heartbroken. Speaking to the Mail, she revealed: “I don’t think they understand how much they have hurt me; it’s as if they have cut my heart out.”

The sole family member present at the momentous celebration was Adam’s sister, Bethany, who served as a bridesmaid for Holly. She beamed as she supported her brother alongside Holly’s sisters, Megan, 27, and Tilly, 24.

Gordon posted a glowing tribute on social media about the Olympian’s momentous day tying the knot with the chef’s daughter Holly. The Kitchen Nightmares legend referred to himself as “dad” whilst commenting on footage of Adam’s wedding speech.
