Katie Price’s son Junior breaks silence on ‘engagement rumours’ after mum’s wedding

Katie Price’s son Junior Andre has addressed rumours he is engaged to his girlfriend Jasmine Orr after they did a popular TikTok trend, saying they are ‘not’ engaged

While Katie Price has just tied the knot in a whirlwind wedding, her son Junior Andre has no plans to follow suit. Katie and her new husband Lee Andrews said their vows in Dubai last weekend, just a week after they first met.

However, it seems that 20-year-old Junior won’t be rushing down the aisle like his mum. He’s been in a relationship with Jasmine Orr, 25, for nearly two years, but they’re not planning on a quickie wedding like Katie’s.

Junior recently set tongues wagging that he was engaged to Jasmine after they took part in a TikTok trend. Speaking exclusively to The Mirror about the engagement rumours for the first time, he said: “I don’t know how people can take things. We were just doing a dance trend. People were just running wild with it. We find it kind of funny, to be honest.”

He added: “I listened to the sound and it’s a trend where people were dancing to it, and it says, I think he says something like, finger, I can put a rock on it. So I do get why people thought it, but absolutely not. Know if we ever announce something like that, it would be properly announced, not just on TikTok.”

Junior and Jasmine are gearing up to celebrate their two-year anniversary soon. And while Junior isn’t planning on proposing just yet, it seems the future is looking rosy for the couple, reports the Mirror.

“I mean, you never know what can happen in the future. That definitely wasn’t us announcing anything like that. We were just innocently dancing to a trend,” he explained, “On our anniversary, which is coming up, we will be going to dinner to where we went on our first date. And that’s just kind of something that we’ve done on our anniversary, which is cute.”

Despite Katie’s whirlwind engagement and wedding after knowing Lee for merely a week, Junior and Jasmine appear far more cautious about their own relationship and are proceeding at a steady pace.

The duo recently hit a major relationship milestone by moving in together, with the couple immediately noticing contrasts in their living styles.

“We’re good. We haven’t fallen out with each other. I mean, she’s definitely more clean than I am in terms of organisation. So she’s putting up with me. We are just loving it, and it’s great independence, and it’s nice having your own space,” he revealed.

“I think it’s important, when you’re in a relationship, that you can have your own space. It’s just important you can both be free and have your own place. It feels better. We’ve got a great dynamic, you know, and it’s nice. I wouldn’t change it.”

The pair will be gracing the stage at the UK Top Influencer Awards, where they’ll play a pivotal role in hosting the ceremony, collaborating professionally for the first time. He expressed: “It’s really nice that we get to do this together. We can kind of fall back on each other if we need to. We bounce off each other really well. It’s the first time we are doing anything like this together. We’re looking forward to it, but we’re not scared, we’re happy. We’re feeling positive about it.”
