Love Island All Stars fans were left devastated for one star after they were dumped from the villa

Love Island viewers have been left devastated after two contestants were brutally booted from one of the villas in a shock twist.

This week brought a Casa Amor-style bombshell as six American newcomers stormed into Villa USA for the very first time in the programme’s history. Presenter Maya Jama introduced bombshells Yamen, Carrington and Zac alongside Sher, Imani and Kyra.

The fresh faces were quickly given the power to select six islanders from the main Love Island villa to join them for a night of challenges. Millie, Whitney, Belle, Helena, Jack, Tommy, Scott and Ciaran were all swept off to the American villa.

Tonight’s episode (January 30) cranked up the tension as the drama unfolded. But true to Love Island All Stars form, another devastating twist was just around the corner – leaving two islanders facing a crushing blow.

At Villa USA, Kyra’s phone pinged with a message stating: “Can all Islanders gather around the firepit,” reports OK!.

A message to Carrington added: “US All Stars, it’s time for you to decide which three girls and which three boys you would like to stay at Villa USA…the girl and boy you don’t choose will return to the main Villa immediately.”

As the American bombshells huddled separately to make their choice, Kyra told the girls: “I think we need to keep who would be most viable for all of us.”

Helena and Scott found themselves chosen to leave, forced to return to the main villa. Whilst fans celebrated Scott and Leanne’s reunion, viewers were gutted for Helena and immediately called on show bosses to take action.

On X, one person penned: “If you’d have told me in summer i’d be feeling for Helena i’d have laughed in your face but PLEASE send a man in for that poor woman.”

Another pleaded: “Omg I beg someone just come in for Helena”, whilst a third chimed in: “Goshhhh I feel so bad for Helena. This show is denting her self esteem.”

A fourth responded: “NO HELENA I COULD CRY FOR HER.” One fan remarked: “i’m actually gutted for helena you know.”

Another echoed the sentiment: “No because i feel so bad for Helena she’s the most single out of them all and she’s been sent back to the main villa.”

One viewer simply declared they were “devastated” for the Love Islander.

Chatting to the girls back in the main villa, Helena could be heard saying: “How am I coming back on my own when I’m the most single one in there?”

Love Island airs Sunday to Friday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
