Joe Swash ‘in trouble’ with Stacey Solomon during awkward live on-air moment

Joe Swash found himself in a spot of hot water with his wife Stacey Solomon while live on-air with Amanda Holden as he explained: “That’s my fault”

Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon had an accidental on-air moment that ended with an awkward exchange.

Joe starred on the Heart Radio Breakfast Show with presenters Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston to discuss his new show, Batch From Scratch: Cooking For Less. Whilst Joe spoke about methods families could use to slash food costs and ease kitchen pressures, he became sidetracked by his mobile ringing.

Amanda and Jamie encouraged him to take the call live on air: “You alright, have you got five minutes?” as Joe, Amanda, and Jamie swiftly informed Stacey that she was on loudspeaker and being listened to by everyone in the studio.

Apparently taken aback by the unforeseen listeners, she didn’t hang about and rapidly said, “Love you, bye,” before ending the call. Looking back on the brief exchange, Joe seemed rattled as he remarked: “That’s my fault, I’ve definitely forgotten to do something. She only phones me this time of the morning when I’m in trouble,” reports the Mirror.

“It was very much an ‘Is anyone there?’ moment. I was like, ‘Yeah,’ [and she meant], ‘Alright, we’ll speak later.’ I think I was meant to move the car, but I’m not sure.”

During the same chat, Joe also spoke about the couple’s recent skiing holiday with their children over half term. When asked how they manage to organise and pack for a holiday with so many children, Joe confessed: “It’s a military operation. Stacey is very good at it, she’s very organised, but yeah it’s definitely a couple of days in planning to make sure we don’t lose no kids.”

Something else Stacey is very good at is her passion projects and business ventures. She recently hosted a celebrity lunch event for the hair, bodycare and skincare brand REHAB. to celebrate the launch of The REHAB Prescription Bar at The Beauty spot in Selfridges London, Oxford Street.

She hosted a number of famous faces including Kaz Kamwi, Caroline Hirons and Anna Williamson.
