Beijing-based academic Professor Jiang Xueqin, dubbed the ‘Chinese Nostradamus’, has made eight chilling predictions for the next two to four years that include Europe’s destruction
The Beijing-based scholar who has gained the moniker “The Chinese Nostradamus” due to his remarkably precise forecasts of geopolitical developments has outlined a terrifying roadmap for the coming years. Jiang Xueqin’s blueprint for the next “two to four years” reaches its peak with a dramatic shift in global order that will feature “the destruction of Europe”.
Professor Jiang employs a combination of comprehensive historical examination and game theory to forecast the results of current world affairs with remarkable precision. He has already witnessed two fairly recent forecasts materialise with striking accuracy.
In 2024, he correctly foresaw that Donald Trump would secure victory in that year’s election. He subsequently forecast that should Trump regain the presidency, there “will be a very strong likelihood that the United States will go to war with Iran”. Both predictions, as we now understand, proved entirely correct. It comes after he shared his predictions for how the Iran war may end.
And now he has issued eight additional alarming forecasts.
1. US will deploy ground forces
In a new video, Jiang forecasts the US will be compelled to send ground forces to maintain dominance over Iran, which represents an enormous and mountainous region four times larger than neighbouring Iraq. This development, Professor Jiang argues, will trigger the sort of domestic upheaval witnessed during Vietnam in the 1960s, when thousands of young Americans declined conscription into what they perceived as an unjust conflict.
“A lot of young people are going to refuse to fight in this war. And this is going to create protest,” Professor Jiang predicts. “Then America will have no choice but to deploy the National Guard. And this will create the recipe for a lot of civil conflict in America.”
However, the repercussions from President Trump’s so-called “excursion” into the Middle East will have much more wide-ranging ramifications than that, he claims.
2. Annihilation of the GCC
Professor Jiang believes the Gulf Cooperation Council [GCC] – an economic and military alliance that brings together Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates in a largely US-friendly coalition – will be wiped out.
“What’s happening in this war is that the economies of the GCC are being destroyed and that’s part of the plan,” he claims.
Unverified accounts from within the US military suggest that American forces engaged in the Iran conflict have been informed by their commanding officers that President Trump was “anointed by Jesus” to conduct a holy war against Iran – even claiming this could spark Armageddon and herald Christ’s return.
Professor Jiang believes this fixation with the End of the World, known as eschatology, is widespread amongst the Evangelical Christians who have risen to prominence within the current US administration.
3. Turkey and Saudi Arabia will join the conflict
This, he theorises, provides the backdrop to the next stage of the conflict.
He elaborated: “The third thing we can expect is that Turkey and Saudi Arabia will enter the war… because you want to use this war to weaken opposition to these eschatologies.”
Participation in the war against Iran will inflict serious damage on Turkey, as it will the GCC nations, Jiang cautions.
Combined with Turkey’s involvement in the Iranian conflict, this spells catastrophe for America’s former allies. “We can expect the destruction of Europe-the end of NATO basically,” Jiang cautions.
4. The Al-Aqsa Mosque will be destroyed
One of Islam’s most sacred sites, the Al-Aqsa mosque sits at the very centre of Jerusalem. Professor Jiang highlighted this crucial site has long been a point of contention between Israelis and Palestinians.
In April 2024, during a series of Iranian attacks against Israel, Iran’s then-supreme leader Ali Khamenei tweeted in Hebrew: “Al-Quds [an Arabic name for Jerusalem] will be in the hands of the Muslims.”
With renewed tensions between Israel and Iran, Professor Jiang believes the mosque is likely to be be severely damaged or destroyed.
5. The Rise of Persia
The professor adds that as Iran continues to battle against overwhelming odds, its leaders will re-embrace its historic name of Persia. That, once more, links to the eschatological examination of the circumstances – that this present conflict serves as a precursor to a broader war that concludes with Persian and Russian forces joining together to confront a combined Israeli force at Armageddon – now recognised as Tel Megiddo – in northern Israel.
6. Israel ascendant
Jiang reckons that, as America’s economy gets overtaken, certain multinational corporations will shift more towards Israel. He continued: “Think of companies like Nvidia, Oracle, Microsoft, Google. They’ll probably transfer themselves to Israel because that is where the power will rest.”
7. Russian victory in Ukraine
With America entangled in Iran, and NATO fatally undermined due to internal disputes over the Strait of Hormuz, Jiang claims that President Putin will exploit the mounting turmoil to ultimately crush Ukraine.
8. Destruction of Europe
The final outcome of all these schemes, Jiang maintains, is a Europe trapped between Russia on one flank and Iran – now controlling all or portions of Turkey – on the other.
Facing these two formidable opponents – both possessing sophisticated drone and cyber-warfare capabilities – Europe is unlikely to endure.
He notes that it’s completely feasible that Donald Trump could simply acknowledge his error and pull his forces from the area, trying to convince his MAGA supporters that the military venture accomplished its goals. But even that seemingly rational approach, Jiang suggests, conceals a devastating catch.
He elaborated: “What happens is that Iran says to GCC, ‘Hey man, you attacked us. You destroyed our infrastructure. You destroyed our economy. You have to pay compensation.'”.
Given Iran’s commanding grip on the Straits of Hormuz – the only pathway for roughly 20% of global crude oil – it could demand tribute from oil-producing nations to secure this “compensation.”
Such a scenario would inflict serious damage on the US economy. Professor Jiang continued: “So all this money from the GCC, before it’s going to United States to fuel the US economy… it goes to Iran.”
The result, Jiang proposes, is a rejuvenated Iran that harnesses its fresh riches to modernise and reconstruct on an extraordinary scale, emerging as the dominant regional force “in five to 10 years.”
The logical course for Israeli leadership at that juncture, Jiang argues, would be striking some form of peace agreement with the Iranians. Simultaneously, the US economy could face catastrophic consequences.
He continued: “Because the entire US economy is based on the stock market, on finance, on AI, on investment from the GCC.”
This scenario could present Trump with an unwinnable dilemma: deploy ground forces to invade Iran and confront a protracted and brutal conflict that would undoubtedly prove politically catastrophic domestically, or retreat from the region and endure near-certain economic meltdown.
Whilst both scenarios will terrify more sensible American politicians, Jiang argues. that the evangelical figures who increasingly influence Trump’s closest advisers will view these catastrophic outcomes as a means to accelerate Christ’s Second Coming as foretold in the Book of Revelation.
Given Iran’s own religious fundamentalist leadership, the likelihood of a calm, diplomatic resolution to this crisis appears distant. Should Jiang’s forecasts prove accurate, the latter part of the 2020s promises to be an extremely perilous period for the globe.
