Emmerdale fans have a theory about who Graham Foster is working with to poison Kim Tate
The identity of Graham Foster’s accomplice in his plot against Kim Tate on Emmerdale may have been sussed out by viewers.
While certain theories point to a Dingle or Tate being involved, other speculation has harked back to a previous storyline.
This has sparked the theory that secretly, a particular character who despises Kim is assisting Graham in his bid to murder her.
Monday’s episode saw Kim rushed to hospital after what appeared to be severe mushroom poisoning.
The Dingles all pointed fingers at one another for targeting Kim, with contaminated food and dodgy wine being cited as potential causes.
However, it later emerged at the hospital that the issue was medication-related, with Kim fearing she’d been overdoing it recently to the extent she was becoming absent-minded.
While those surrounding her suggested she’d accidentally taken too many painkillers, she remained convinced she wouldn’t have done so.
That’s when viewers witnessed Graham tampering with her tablets in the cupboard. He’d switched her bottle of medication for an identical one containing different pills, reports the Mirror.
As he replaced them, we heard him speaking to someone on the phone, claiming the dosage hadn’t proved fatal. He appeared disappointed, as though the intention had been to eliminate Kim.
But who was he conversing with, and why does this individual want Kim eliminated?
What would motivate Graham to collaborate with someone to dispose of Kim? Fans reckon they’ve cracked it, and it relates to a scene featuring Caleb Miligan.
Caleb had encountered Graham prior to his arrival in the village a few years ago. It was Graham who informed him about the death of his father Frank Tate and Kim’s involvement, sparking his revenge plot against Kim.
This was all seemingly forgotten, despite his evident disdain for her. So, have Caleb and Graham joined forces once again to finally bring down Kim?
While Caleb may be part Tate, he isn’t entirely so as he’s a Miligan and also part Dingle. One viewer commented: “Yes he said about poison to Kim before she left home farm I think he’s on phone to Caleb.”
Another chimed in: “Mr robot and the troll Caleb want Kim dead,” while a third added: “Well I was wrong there! Twists and turns always, question is now, who is Graham speaking to on the phone? My gut is saying Caleb.”
This comes amidst rumours that Kim’s stepdaughter Dawn Taylor will exit the ITV soap later this year.
The ITV soap has yet to confirm whether this is true or how it will transpire. In the meantime, we can look forward to a familiar face returning, with Chris Coghill reprising his role as Kev Townsend.
