Emmerdale viewers are certain Joe will be ‘bumped off’ by one villager following his latest betrayal over Moira Dingle’s farm
Emmerdale viewers fear Joe Tate will be killed off 30 years after the character was introduced, thanks to his latest scheme.
As fans of the ITV soap will know, Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) remains on remand in prison for the murders of Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) and Anya Berisha (Alia Al-Shabibi). The farmer is being set up for the gruesome crimes committed by Celia alongside her adopted son, Ray Walters (Joe Absolom).
It was Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) who coerced Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) into planting incriminating evidence at Moira’s cottage as part of his plan to seize control of Butler’s Farm. Joe is also blackmailing Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) after recording her killing her evil half-brother John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth).

Robert is desperate to protect his sister from being caught for murder, so he went along with Joe’s sickening blackmail terms that included the Sugdens handing over their farm land to Joe.
On Wednesday (February 11), Victoria visited Moira in prison and demanded that she sign paperwork confirming the sale of the Sugden share of Butlers Farm to the Tates. Moira was upset over Victoria’s decision but eventually signed the contract.
Back at Butlers, Robert informed Moira’s husband, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), of the sale, leaving him livid.
Meanwhile, at Home Farm, Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) was left disgusted by Joe’s behaviour towards Moira and the Sugdens, calling him out for “ruining another family” while looking very unimpressed.
Kim Tate (Claire Tate) is not yet aware of exactly how Joe secured the farm’s purchase and shows no interest in finding out.
Although Kim and Graham advised Joe to wait until Moira was out of prison before trying to buy her share of Butlers Farm, an idea he appeared to reject.
Emmerdale fans are now convinced Joe will finally get his comeuppance and will be killed by either Kim or Graham in a twisted revenge plot.
Taking to X, one person wrote: “Hopefully Graham will bump off Joe soon enough #Emmerdale.”
A second stated: “Karma is coming for Joe #Emmerdale”, while a third chimed in: “Graham will do Joe over. #Emmerdale.”
“Kim wants to get rid of Joe once and for all #Emmerdale”, predicted one fan as another added: “I can’t wait for Queen Kim to find out what Joe has done and hopefully wipe the floor with him!! You deserve everything you’re gonna get Joe!”
“That was perfect. Joe thought he had Butler’s farm in the bag but Kim wants to wait until the Celia situation is resolved & Graham agrees with her! ‘Forget what Kim says”, brave words coming from Joe & I hope somebody takes him down a peg or 2 or kills him!” said another.
