Stacey Solomon says daughter Rose was ‘absolutely fuming’ after spotting wedding ‘problem’

Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash are approaching their fourth wedding anniversary and the couple have a sweet family tradition they always follow on their special day

Stacey Solomon has shared that her and Joe Swash’s daughter Rose was left “fuming” after realising she couldn’t identify herself in the couple’s wedding photos.

Joining her husband on Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden on Friday, the TV star reminisced about their impending wedding anniversary and a family tradition they’ve upheld since saying ‘I do’.

When Jamie noted that their anniversary was just around the corner, Stacey chuckled as she briefly lost track of the date before acknowledging it was nearly upon them.

Quizzed by Amanda Holden on how they intended to mark the occasion, Joe responded: “Hopefully, hopefully get a bit of time for ourselves.”

Stacey revealed that they often look back on their special day with their children, stating: “We always watch our videos, so the kids always ask to watch the wedding video, not the whole thing. But like, there’s certain bits that the older boys remember that they find really funny and the little ones, Belle’s always like, ‘Where am I?'”, reports the Mirror.

Amanda then proposed that the couple might need to renew their vows, which led Stacey to recount a humorous tale about four-year-old Rose.

She said: “Even Rose said to me the other day she was fuming, wasn’t she all morning? She was like, ‘I’m not in any of your wedding pictures.’ I said, ‘You are, Rose. You’re just a baby.’ She said, ‘That is not me.’ Absolutely fuming that we didn’t invite her to the wedding.”

Stacey and Joe tied the knot on July 24, 2022, at their Essex residence, Pickle Cottage, having relocated to the £1.3 million property in 2021 and completely transformed it through major refurbishment work.

Later in the chat, Amanda couldn’t help but enquire whether the pair had completed expanding their brood.

Speaking about their hectic household, which features Zachary, 17, Leighton, 13, Rex, six, Rose, four, and Belle, three, Amanda asked: “That’s it, right? Is that it?”

Following a momentary silence, Stacey responded: “Yeah,” prompting giggles in the studio as Jamie questioned the pause and Amanda made light of the obvious hesitation.

Joe confessed he was satisfied with their family as it stands, saying: “Look, I’m very clear on the matter. I love kids, but, you know, it’s not my decision anymore. Stacey’s been pregnant for… what? Nearly 10 years! So she needs a break.”

Stacey concurred, stating: “Five times, five times! It’s been 10 long years!”

Yet Jamie highlighted they still hadn’t provided a clear-cut response, prompting Stacey to confess: “You can never say never, can you?”

Amanda, who is mother to two children herself, chuckled: “But you’ve got a five-a-side team!”

Joe delivered the closing quip, responding: “We could do with a couple of subs though!”
