Bombshell emails from newly released Epstein files reveal Sarah Ferguson thanked Jeffrey Epstein for his friendship and called him ‘brother’ in 2009 correspondence sent after his release from prison for soliciting prostitution of a minor

Newly released emails reveal that Sarah Ferguson, the former Duchess of York, expressed deep gratitude and affection toward late financier and convincted sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein in correspondence from 2009 and 2010. Ferguson expressed gratitude to Epstein for his friendship in explosive new emails unveiled as part of the latest Epstein files.

The former Duchess of York, 66, dispatched an email to Epstein on August 3, 2009, describing him as being like a “brother” to her. The correspondence from Sarah stated: “In just week, after your lunch, it seems the energy has lifted.

“I have never been more touched by a friends kindness than your compliment to me in front of my girls.

“Thank you Jeffrey for being the brother I have always wished for.” Additional emails from 2009 reveal Sarah referring to Epstein as a “legend”, whilst a 2010 email demonstrates their continued correspondence as she extended an invitation to the late paedophile for Andrew’s 50th birthday celebration at St. James’s Palace.

It is understood Epstein was unable to attend, reports the Express. Reports suggest the invitation and emails were dispatched to Epstein following his release from prison in July 2009 for soliciting prostitution of a minor, as detailed by The Daily Mail.

Bombshell files released by the US Department of Justice on Friday (January 30) have sent shockwaves through the corridors of power. Moreover, three million pages of documents, 180,000 images, and 2,000 videos linked to the Epstein Files Transparency Act were made public, the Daily Star previously reported.

Being named in these papers does not suggest wrongdoing. Among the explosive revelations, emails from 2010 show Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor (formerly Prince Andrew) invited Jeffrey Epstein to Buckingham Palace for a private dinner.

Further exchanges suggested Epstein tried to introduce him to a “trustworthy” 26-year-old Russian woman. Tech billionaire Elon Musk was also named, with 2013 correspondence revealing he asked Epstein about visiting his notorious private island, Little Saint James.

Musk had previously branded Epstein a “creep” and denied ever setting foot there. Lord Mandelson finds himself embroiled too, as emails show Epstein sent £10,000 to Mandelson’s partner for an osteopathy course in 2009, with Mandelson now expressing “deep regret” over his ties to the disgraced financier.

Microsoft founder Bill Gates is also in the spotlight, after Epstein’s private notes hinted at alleged affairs, claims Gates’ spokesperson has slammed as “completely false”.

US President Donald Trump’s name surfaces in 2019 emails between Epstein and author Michael Wolff, alleging Trump “knew about the girls”, though the DOJ insists there is no evidence of wrongdoing by the former president, who has repeatedly denied any involvement.

The files also shed light on Ghislaine Maxwell, including psychological reports, prison photos, and details of her helicopters dubbed “Air Ghislaine 1” and “Air Ghislaine 2”.
