EastEnders fans reckon they’ve worked out Bea Pollard’s true identity and real target in Albert Square

EastEnders fans reckon they’ve worked out Bea Pollard’s real identity and who she’s actually targeting on the BBC One soap.

Bea, portrayed by Ronni Ancona, first appeared last month after encountering Linda Carter at a school reunion while Honey Mitchell was pretending to be her.

When Bea revealed she was facing eviction from her landlord, Linda kindly offered her accommodation at Peacock Palace. Bea then tried to find employment around Albert Square but faced rejection from both Ian Beale and the Minute Mart.

Taking control of the situation, Bea orchestrated a fake incident at the Minute Mart last week. The dramatic scenes showed Honey’s shock at discovering two teenage girls vandalising the premises.

Bea conveniently appeared on the scene, helping Honey remove the troublemakers and tidy up the shop, which impressed Vinny Panesar enough to offer her a probationary position at the Minute Mart, reports OK!.

It later emerged that Bea had masterminded the entire scenario, with the girls working under her direction solely to land herself the job at the Minute Mart.

Following this revelation to audiences, Monday’s episode featured Honey training Bea on her inaugural day at the Minute Mart when Vinny turned up with an unwilling Nugget for work experience.

However, Bea took exception to Vinny’s treatment of Honey, and matters deteriorated further when Honey injured her back after stumbling over merchandise and a ladder whilst on duty.

After becoming increasingly frustrated by Suki Panesar’s sharp demeanour towards Honey, Bea urged Honey to take legal action against the Panesars over her workplace injury and tempted her to sample wine from the shop’s inventory.

With Bea stirring up intrigue in Albert Square and puzzling soap enthusiasts, some viewers believe they’ve cracked a theory about her true identity.

Flocking to social media, one fan speculated: “Is Bea one of the Fords? # Eastenders ” whilst another account responded: “I reckon be is one of the fords that’s after cindy Beale”.

Someone else posted: “oh yeah ! ! ! ! Could Bea!”, with a different viewer adding: “ooh! Good call!” Meanwhile, another fan observed: “Well, bea is the first 3 letters of beale, so this could be a clue.”

What secrets is Bea concealing and who is she truly targeting in Albert Square?

EastEnders continues Monday to Thursday at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
