EXCLUSIVE: Love Island stars Lucinda Strafford and Sean Stone have both been caught up in some serious heat during their time in the villa as arguments have broken out almost every episode

Love Island’s Sean and Lucinda have been branded the “most intense couple” after their “puppy love” moments that caused controversy in the villa.

The couple aren’t exactly their co-stars’ favourite as Sean has gone head-to-head with Scott and his former pal Tommy, while Lucinda has been involved in shouting matches with both Belle and Samie. Former Islander Luca Bish has spoken exclusively to Daily Star and shared his thoughts on the ITV stars’ whirlwind romance, which many fans think appeared from nowhere.

Luca explained: “They’re probably the most intense couple I’ve ever seen so quickly. It’s very puppy love energy. Sean is fully invested straight away.”

“Whether its genuine long term is something only time will tell. Lucinda’s had a lot of heat, and I don’t think that helps anyone. You’ll only really know when they’re out on the outside.”

When asked about whether he thinks they’ll last on the outside, Luca responded: “Who knows. I’ve written off couples in the past who are now married or engaged, so anything can happen.”

Speaking on behalf of Paddy Power, Luca continued: “I don’t have any hate towards them. I want everyone in there to find someone and be happy. Is that always the reality? Probably not but I wish them well.”

Elsewhere in Love Island news, ITV’s streaming platform ITVX shut down just minutes before the show was due to air on 10 February.

Fans raged and took to X/Twitter to share their frustration after waiting 24 hours to watch the fall out from the saucy heart rate challenge.

Jessy crashed the fire pit as a fresh bombshell and went straight for Scott, which left Leanne and Belle raging as they watched the lap dance unfold from the balcony.
