MAFS Australia continues to deliver plenty of drama and chaos as feuds continue

The drama and mayhem keep escalating on Married At First Sight Australia, with absolutely no signs of calming down anytime soon.

Only last week, UK audiences saw explosive retreat scenes where Bec’s “vulgar” joke about Rachel and Steven’s private moments sparked a furious bust-up and vicious remarks from Juliette.

During a savage outburst, Juliette’s conduct was once more slammed as she branded Bec with names including the “dumbest c*** here”. Following the heated exchanges, Bec and Danny were spotted gathering their belongings and departing, raising doubts about their attendance at the dinner party.

At the most recent dinner party, while keeping relatively quiet around the dining table, Gia nevertheless unleashed a bombshell revelation that she could spark additional mayhem by revealing “receipts” that Bec had supposedly sent her via text, featuring spiteful comments about Alissa and David.

Gia, chatting to Juliette, confessed Bec should be “really worried”, reports OK! Yet the episode concluded on a cliffhanger, forcing UK audiences to wait until this week to discover whether the messages would be exposed. Spoiler alert – they are.

However, there’s one significant moment from the Married At First Sight Australia retreat that never reached our screens, the Tab reported.

Bec, Gia and Alissa had apparently all reconciled, before falling out yet again. Speaking on MAFS Unleashed, Bec revealed Alissa and Gia patched things up initially before Bec entered the discussion as they “hugged it out”. The following morning, it was reported that Scott and Gia turned up at Bec and Danny’s flat door before producers intervened.

Another dramatic moment that failed to reach our screens was that there was allegedly far more chaos stemming from Bec’s quip. According to The Tab, there had been a cut scene from the opening night of the retreat that would apparently indicate Bec’s remark wasn’t completely random.

Chatting with Bec and Alissa, Steven reportedly cracked explicit jokes about his relationship alongside Bec. Rachel admitted she would have “squashed” matters earlier with Bec had she known about the conversation that took place.

During an appearance on the After The Dinner Party show, she said: “Genuinely, like, it kind of gives context because then I would have gone out of my way then to approach Bec and like, ‘I get why you’ve said it now’, I could have squashed it. I was overreacting.”

In other unbroadcast scenes, Rachel disclosed to TV Week that Bec was spotted off-camera trying to rally people to her cause as she said: “She was going from room to room talking to other cast members trying to make out I was overreacting.

“That felt a little bit campaign-y. That’s what upset me. She wasn’t even trying to understand or reflect on why I was upset.”

Married At First Sight Australia airs Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on E4.
