Madonna has admitted she is heartbroken after outfits from her Coachella set mysteriously vanished. The Material Girl singer said she was thrilled after her triumphant appearance on stage alongside Sabrina Carpenter, but is now hoping for the return of her costumes.

The legendary popstar, 67, took to her Instagram to appeal for those responsible − or anyone with leads − to make themselves known as quickly as possible. She even offered a reward in exchange for information or for the clothes themselves.

Taking to her Stories, the pop legend said: “Still flying high since Friday night at Coachella! Thank you to Sabrina and everyone who made it possible.

“Bringing Confessions Il back to where it began was such a thrill!” she continued, according to the Mirror. This full circle moment hit different until I discovered that the vintage pieces that I wore went missing − my costume that was pulled from my personal archives − jacket, corset, dress and all other garments.”

She continued to say the pieces aren’t merely clothing to her, but rather are “part of my history”. Madge added: “Other archival items from the same era went missing as well.

“I’m hoping and praying that some kind soul, will find these items and reach out to my team at: Infomaverick2026@gmail.com. I’m offering a reward for their safe return. Thank you with all My Heart.”

The songstress was a special guest as she performed a duet of Vogue, Like A Prayer and a song from Madonna’s new album Confessions II, set for release on 3 July, alongside Sabrina Carpenter. Madonna was clad in purple lingerie for the event. And she told the audience: “Twenty years ago today, I performed at Coachella – I was in the dance tent and it was the first time I performed Confessions On A Dance Floor: Part I in America and that was such a thrill for me.

“So you can imagine what a thrill it is for me to be back 20 years later… so it’s a like a full circle moment you know – very meaningful for me.”

Madonna’s latest album serves as a follow-up to Confessions on a Dance Floor, which was released in 2005. The Material Girl unveiled the first glimpse last week. In the photographs, she was spotted wearing a bold silver jacket and blue leotard, and the pop icon clearly meant business.

Referencing the opening lyrics from the record’s lead single, One Step Away, Madonna said when previewing it: “People think that dance music is superficial, but they’ve got it all wrong. The dance floor is not just a place, it’s a threshold: A ritualistic space where movement replaces language.

“When Stuart Price and I first started working on this record, this was our manifesto.” The manifesto reads: “We must dance, celebrate, and pray with our bodies. These are things that we’ve been doing for thousands of years – they really are spiritual practices. After all, the dance floor is a ritualistic space.

“It’s a place where you connect with your wounds, with your fragility. To rave is an art. It’s about pushing your limits and connecting to a community of like-minded people.

“Sound, light, and vibration reshape our perceptions, pulling us into a trance-like state. The repetition of the bass, we don’t just hear it, but we feel it. Altering our consciousness and dissolving ego and time.”
