The Metropolitan Police are seeking a UK trail in the case of Madeleine McCann suspect Christian Brueckner.
Detectives are trying to bring Christian Brueckner to Britain to stand trial for the abduction and murder of Madeleine McCann. They are currently building a file of evidence for the CPS in order to charge Brueckner, reports the Telegraph. Madeleine disappeared on a family holiday in Portugal in May 2007 when she was just three.
One of Scotland Yard’s most senior officers is pushing to charge the German suspect before the 20th anniversary of Madeleine’s disappearance next year.
