‘I have worn nothing but Skechers for years – they’re simply the best!’

Shoppers are snapping up multiple pairs of Skechers trainers, saying ‘they’re simply the best’. The Skechers Men’s Oak Canyon Sneakers are currently available from Amazon for £53, down from £69, saving buyers 23% on their purchase.

These come in the colour chocolate leather mesh with black trim and sizes 5.5 to 13 – other colours are available, for varying prices. They feature a durable sport suede and synthetic upper with a lace-up front, along with a well-cushioned, flexible, shock-absorbing midsole.

They have the Skechers Memory Foam cushioned comfort insole, too, and are said to have a relaxed fit design. The trainers are easy to care for, as they can be machine washed, and the brand says they are great for outdoors in the spring/summer.

The Skechers Men’s Oak Canyon Sneakers from Amazon have been given an overall average rating of 4.4 out of five from more than 10,100 reviews. One said: “Soooooo comfy! Worn many different brands over a period of 30 years, but after buying my first pair of Sketchers about 10 years ago, I’ve never bought another brand since.

“These are really really comfortable, breathable, lightweight, hard wearing and look good, too. I’m tempted to buy a second pair just in case they discontinue these and I can’t get them again in future. When I needed some new safety shoes for work I found they do some just like these (albeit with safety toe) so grabbed them straight away and was not disappointed. Thank you, Skechers!”

A second person said as part of a longer review: “I have worn nothing but Skechers for years – they’re simply the best! I had a pair of these which I wore nearly every day for four years, including eight hours a day at work, walking, driving, shopping. Eventually the soles wore down and got polished and became too slippery and dangerous, so it was time to replace them. I did not hesitate to buy another pair the same – despite the high price, they were excellent value.”

A third simply said: “Comfortable, good fit, second pair.”

Others, however, left some feedback and deducted stars, with one saying: “Great trainer, comfortable for my wider feet. A previous pair wore out quickly as the sole was relatively soft, these ones appear to have a harder outer sole material but still maintain the comfortable cushion sole. Time will tell re wear.”

Someone else said: “Really comfortable to walk in, but the style is a little undesirable. Certainly a shoe for winter time.”
