A former banker who accused his senior colleague at JPMorgan executive of turning him into her ‘sex slave’ is facing a defamation case for the claims he has made

JPMorgan Chase boss Lorna Hajdini is countersuing her former junior colleague Chirayu Rana after he claimed she forced him into being a “sex slave”.

The defamation lawsuit, which was filed on Tuesday, alleges Rana orchestrated a months-long campaign of false accusations against the woman, damaged her career, tarnished her reputation and transformed her life into a global media sensation.

The court documents reads: “Ms Hajdini categorically and unequivocally denies each and every allegation of unlawful conduct.” It added: “These allegations are entirely false, malicious, and fabricated, and were concocted for the improper purpose of personal enrichment at the expense of defendants and others.”

The exec’s lawyers claimed Rana is “peddling his lies that Ms. Hajdini was a racist, sexual predator.” Hajdini’s attorneys added Rana’s aim was “to destroy her reputation for leverage to extort millions of dollars” from both her and JPMorgan.

The lawsuit also alleges Rana made similar sexual harassment claims in previous workplaces. These allegations are currently unverified.

The court filings state: “Plaintiff made up eerily similar fabricated allegations of sexual misconduct against a supervisor at a prior place of employment.”

“Ms Hajdini seeks to vindicate her name, mitigate the substantial damage inflicted upon her, and hold (the) plaintiff accountable for his depraved and unlawful conduct.”

Hajdini’s lawyers claimed Rana’s initial accusation was “the culmination of a months-long campaign to smear Ms Hajdini in the workplace, to third parties, the press, and now this court with fabricated assertions.”

JPMorgan has rallied behind Hajdini and reiterated they don’t believe the allegations against the boss have any merit.

In a statement a JPMorgan spokesman said: “We fully support Lorna and her right to defend herself and protect her reputation. As we have said from the outset, we don’t believe the allegations against her or the firm have merit.”

The countersuit comes after Rana launched legal proceedings against Hajdini claiming she was “making his life hell” through harassment and blackmail, forcing him to be her “sex slave”.

During an incident in the initial suit against the boss, Rana claims the executive removed her shirt, fondled her breasts, and told Rana: “I bet your little Asian, fish head wife doesn’t have these cannons.”

In the initial suit the man accused the JPMorgan boss of drugging him, subjecting him to months of non-consensual sex acts and insulting and degrading him with racial slurs. One of Rana’s main allegations had been that Hajdini had threatened to slash his bonus unless he agreed to have sex with her.

Rana has also submitted evidence from an anonymous mate claiming Hajdini demanded a threesome with him on an occasion. The alleged witness claimed the boss “constantly harassed him and forced him to engage in sexual behaviour with her on a number of occasions.”

Rana claimed the alleged abuse he endured left him to be diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in October 2025. The ex-banker claims he suffers sleep deprivation due to recurring nightmares, flashbacks, fainting episodes and “anger dysregulation”.

Despite Rana’s claims in his initial lawsuit, JPMorgan insiders allege Rana had sought to attain a payout “north of $20 million” prior to leaving JPMorgan.

However Rana ended up turning down the firm’s settlement offer of $1million before he launched the legal action against Hajdini, the New York Post reports.
