Katie Price has responded to claims that her missing husband Lee Andrews was online using Facebook, insisting it was her accessing his account

Katie Price has hit back at suggestions that her missing husband Lee Andrews has been active on Facebook.

Multiple people claimed they had spotted Dubai-based Lee logged into the Messenger platform yesterday (May 19), despite having vanished nearly a week ago after sending a string of disturbing messages to his wife Katie.

Former Apprentice contestant Luisa Zissman, 38, was amongst those posting about him being online even though Katie is frantically searching for him and fears he may have been abducted.

Luisa said: “He was seen as active on Facebook Messenger six hours ago which does indicate that his kidnappers are definitely letting him have access to social media.”

But Katie has spoken out tonight (May 20) on the rumours an d maintained that she was responsible for his Facebook account appearing as active to users worldwide. She posted a screenshot of his profile on Instagram, writing across the image: “I have Lee’s Facebook it’s not him on this it’s me.”

The profile displayed Lee’s 13,000 Facebook followers, his location as Dubai and a brief bio describing himself as an “Investor CEO” and “Married to the beautiful Katie Price.” The post subsequently disappeared from her Instagram Story.

It was also alleged tonight that Lee, 43, has been using his mobile phone. According to The Sun, Lee viewed his WhatsApp messages at 5.56pm on Saturday, days after he last made contact with Katie. She has not addressed this allegation.

Katie has made it abundantly clear that she’s far from entertained by people making light of Lee’s disappearance and feels deeply wounded that people believe it’s a publicity stunt she’s orchestrated, reports the Mirror.

The former reality TV star, 47, declared yesterday: “I’m really upset everyone thinks I’m in on this. Are you guys actually joking?

“This is not a publicity stunt. This is real. And anyone who thinks that I’m part of this is disgusting. None of his family has heard anything from Lee. His dad, who’s out in Dubai, has heard nothing.

“We’ve reported him to the British Embassy as a missing person. Everyone who is trying to speculate or make jokes, think of other people’s feelings. It is not nice. It isn’t a game, it is real life. This is really happening, and there are real feelings involved here.”

The self-proclaimed millionaire informed his wife last week that he would be journeying from Dubai to the UK to be reunited with her – even sharing updates from an airport – after failing to appear for their scheduled joint slot on Good Morning Britain, which she attended solo.

The mother-of-five alleged she last had contact with her husband on Wednesday, May 13 and that he was in a van with his hands tied, expressing her terror that he’s been abducted.
