Katie Price’s husband Lee Andrews has not been seen for 11 days as the mystery surrounding his disappearance deepens, with a source confirming he is not being pursued by Interpol

Lee Andrews is not being pursued by international police a source has revealed, as mystery continues to shroud the abrupt vanishing of Katie Price’s husband, who has not been spotted for 11 days.

The missing man was supposed to feature on Good Morning Britain alongside Katie but failed to catch his flight. Subsequently, Katie alleged that she received a FaceTime call from the self-proclaimed entrepreneur, where he claimed his hands had been ‘cable-tied’ and that he’d been forced into the rear of a van.

Afterwards, the mother-of-five posted the final text messages she claimed she had received from her husband’s phone, with one message stating: “Been arrested, I’ll be in touch.”

It had been suggested that Lee was being pursued by Interpol but a source tells the Mirror that’s not the situation, adding that if he is being detained by authorities in the United Arab Emirates it’s not likely to be due to a report that was initially received by Hertfordshire Police earlier this year.

In a statement provided to The Mirror today, Hertfordshire Police said: “We’d like to clarify that Hertfordshire Constabulary received a report in March, however, once it was established the alleged offences happened in Dubai, we referred this case to the relevant authorities as this was outside of our jurisdiction.”

In a recent YouTube video, Katie alleged that Lee claimed that his “kidnappers” have seized two of his phones but that he possessed a secret third one that he was using to contact her. The video was recorded a day after Lee went missing, reports the Mirror.

While filming herself conveying messages to an unidentified individual over the phone, Katie alleges he informed her: “They’ve taken two of my phones. They don’t know I’m on this phone.” She continued: “So he said, ‘I’ll just let you know I’ve been arrested. If they ring you.'”

Katie elaborated: “He wrote a text quick. I mean, I hope he’s all right, but I don’t know,” before capturing herself leaving a voice note for her father-in-law, whose number Lee had given her just moments prior to his disappearance.

Since that time, his father has asserted that his son is not missing but is in fact incarcerated. He stated over the weekend: “Lee is OK. He has not been kidnapped but he is under arrest. I don’t know on what charge. I’m not sure where he is being held. But he will call me later today.”

Katie subsequently labelled that announcement as “fake news”. She declared: “Lee is still missing. Me and his family know what’s going on and working with the authorities involved.”
