Katie Price’s husband Lee Andrews may have finally resurfaced after his mysterious disappearance in Dubai, but the bizarre saga has only created even more unanswered questions.

The former glamour model revealed this week that Lee had contacted her from Al Awir prison, a notorious jail often nicknamed “Dubai’s Alcatraz”, after vanishing for nearly two weeks.

Katie, 47, previously claimed her husband had sent her chilling messages saying he was in a van with his hands tied and feared he had been kidnapped. Why did Lee allegedly tell Katie he was suspected of being a spy?

Katie revealed that during their first phone call since his disappearance, Lee allegedly told her “the authorities out there thought he was a spy”.

It is one of the most shocking claims to emerge from the drama, especially given Lee’s very public relationship with Katie and social media presence.

At this stage, there has been no official confirmation from Dubai authorities that espionage accusations were involved. Some reports now suggest Lee may have actually been detained over a separate legal issue, which would explain why officials have not publicly mentioned spying claims.

Who used Lee’s Instagram while he was missing?

One of the strangest twists came when Lee’s Instagram account suddenly followed a glamorous US Navy veteran known online as a “biker babe” while he was supposedly missing.

The lack of detailed official information has only fuelled speculation online, with many questioning whether there is more to the story that has not yet been made public.

Why did Katie delete her Facebook explanation?

At one point, Katie insisted she personally had access to Lee’s Facebook account after users spotted him appearing active online during the disappearance.

She wrote: “I have Lee’s Facebook it’s not him on this it’s me.”

But the statement later disappeared from her Instagram Story, leading followers to question why it had been removed so quickly.
