Emmerdale fans ‘rumble’ Graham Foster’s new romance and it’s not with Kim Tate

Emmerdale viewers are convinced Graham Foster will catch the eye of an unsuspecting villager in a romantic twist

Emmerdale’s Graham Foster continues to stand by Kyle Winchester following his exposure as the mystery fire-starter, but viewers reckon Graham is heading for a fresh romantic storyline.

As devotees of the ITV drama will recall, Kyle (portrayed by Huey Quinn) had been setting random blazes across Emmerdale Farm as a way of coping with trauma from recent devastating events, including his mother Amy Barton’s (Natalie Ann Jamieson) fatal car accident, becoming homeless while Moira was behind bars, and his father Cain Dingle’s (Jeff Hordley) cancer diagnosis.

During Monday’s Emmerdale instalment (June 1), Kyle eavesdropped on his father and Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah) discussing his truancy and fixation with repairing his Golf. However, Kyle misunderstood his father’s worry as confirmation that his dad disliked spending time with him.

Meanwhile, Graham (Andrew Scarborough) was investigating the blazes when he discovered Kyle watching his Golf burn. After spotting the teenager slip a lighter into his pocket, Graham cottoned on that Kyle was the enigmatic arsonist just as Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) arrived to investigate.

Graham whisked Kyle away to shelter in his vehicle as Moira turned up. While Graham showed compassion for Kyle’s fragile emotional state, he cautioned that unless the lad confessed, he would be forced to inform Cain and Moira.

During Tuesday’s trip to the village (June 2), Cain agreed to buy a new car for Kyle, while Moira tried to find out who had torched his old one. Later in the episode, Moira confronted Graham and informed him that she knew he was shielding someone over the fires, reports the Express.

Moira expressed her disbelief that Graham would be unable to identify the arsonist, suggesting he must either be safeguarding someone close or is the very person setting the farm ablaze.

Graham reassured Moira that the Dingles were not being targeted; instead, the fires were aimed at Joe Tate (Ned Porteous), but the situation was now resolved.

Later, Kyle found comfort over a milkshake at The Hide and expressed gratitude to Graham for not revealing the fire to Moira and Cain. Kyle explained that he wanted to confess but felt too remorseful about his actions.

In response, Graham urged the teenager to concentrate on managing his emotions and pledged his support.

As Graham displays a gentler side towards Kyle, some Emmerdale viewers are forecasting a budding romance between Graham and Moira. Graham has previously been romantically connected to Kim Tate (Claire King) and Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry).

Posting on X, one individual commented: “Actually, Moira & Graham would make a good couple”, with another concurring: “Yes! Totally!”

A third chimed in: “I like Graham looking out for Kyle for Cain and Moira (lovestruck emoji)”, while another suggested: “I can see Moira having an affair with Graham…”

“You tell him Moira Dingle, the great Graham Foster #MoiraDingle,” another viewer quipped.
