Danniella Westbrook to have six more surgeries as one side of face has ‘no bone’

Danniella Westbrook has gone under the knife several times to rebuild her face after intense drug use, and now it seems she’s facing six more operations very soon

Danniella Westbrook has said she is about to undergo another six surgeries to help reconstruct her face. The former EastEnders star, 52, admitted that her body is in such bad shape, she has “no bone” on one side of her face.

Danniella has been going under the knife several times in recent months as she tries to rebuild her face after consistent drug use. Now, she has said she will need six more rounds of surgery over the next 18 months.

Speaking to Vanessa Feltz on her Channel 5 programme on Monday, Danniella said she has already been through “umpteen surgeries”. She told the presenter: “I think I’m coming up to surgery number six at the moment.”

She continued, according to the Mirror : “Five or six will be this Thursday. So it’s quite scary.

“I’ve had quite a few surgeries to rebuild and refix my face. I think since I got older, the osteoporosis has set in on my bones.”

Danniella admitted that one side of her face doesn’t have “any bone at all”. She continued: “So they’ve got to rebuild all my bones. At the moment it’s filler, but they’ve really got to do a metal bone.”

As she detailed the situation, Vanessa asked how many different procedures would be needed. Danniella admitted she will have to undergo around six more operations following her latest one.

She explained: “The next one they’re doing is like a hair lip reversal because my lip’s so far up now where it’s pulling up that way. So I’ve got to do that from the inside, cut a flap from the inside of my cheek, flip it round and over and then bring it in from there and put it through because I don’t want the scarring on the outside of my face.

“It’s another 18 months of surgery after surgery after surgery. About every two and a half, three months I’m in surgery.”

She openly admitted hating to see her reflection in the mirror, confessing she can’t stand looking at herself. She confessed: “Even now, I’ve just recently had to have a facelift to realign both sides of my face because they were so wonky.

“Just to get this nose in a certain position so we can start working on that, not for anything cosmetically beautifying, but no, I still hate looking in the mirror.” The actress’ septum collapsed following years of drug misuse in 1999, and has been on a lengthy journey to reconstruct her face.

The Sam Mitchell actress has been ruthlessly trolled online for her appearance, as she desperately tries to feel confident again. However, the star has also suffered a slew of other health issues in her life, including a horrific battle with sepsis in 2022.
