Tyson Fury made a surprise appearance at UFC Freedom 250 at the White House and had a bold message for US President Donald Trump and the Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer
Boxing icon Tyson Fury made an unexpected appearance at the historic UFC Freedom 250 at the White House on Sunday night, joining Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump and a host of MAGA luminaries.
In the build-up to Trump’s cage-fighting extravaganza celebrating America’s 250th independence anniversary, the president and UFC boss Dana White strolled together from the Oval Office to the White House balcony overlooking the massive open-sided structure, known as “The Claw”, situated on the South Lawn.
The national anthem then echoed out as fighter jets thundered overhead in formation, sparking cheers from spectators and chants of “USA, USA”. Trump subsequently took his seat near the iconic octagon cage, where seven bouts were planned. And among the 4,000 attendees at the purpose-built venue was British heavyweight boxing sensation Tyson Fury.

Just before ‘the Gypsy King’ appeared, Trump was welcomed by a fanfare of trumpets on the White House’s South Lawn as he walked in alongside UFC head Dana White, reports the Mirror.
Fury made his entrance after the second fight of the evening, striding out to the Kings of Leon hit ‘Sex on Fire’ in a matching blazer and trousers with his ‘Gypsy King’ logo emblazoned in gold across the design.
The most striking part of his outfit was his cap, which bore a not too complimentary message for Sir Keir Starmer, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
The bold message instead showed strong support for the American president. “Donald Trump for Prime Minister,” it read alongside an embroidered British flag.
The slogan was a nod to Trump’s signature red “Make America Great Again” caps.
Tyson’s unexpected visit to the White House occurred just 24 hours after he was spotted ringside watching brother Tommy overcome strongman Eddie Hall in their clash.
Tyson also revealed to the audience that he fancies a future bout with Anthony Joshua, adding more fuel to the decade-long saga between the two fighters.
Other Trump backers present included billionaire Mark Zuckerberg, NHL stars Matthew and Brady Tkachuk, along with several top-tier UFC champions.
