Some Love Island viewers are convinced a popular couple will never work in the real world

Love Island fans are speculating that a beloved couple may not survive outside the villa after noticing a telling sign.

The 13th series of the ITV2 dating programme launched just three weeks ago and has already witnessed a series of harsh eliminations and intense challenges. However, strong connections have also been formed in the villa, including popular contestants Kavan and Jasmine.

The duo were recently tipped as this year’s likely winners, with online betting site Oddschecker revealing that 33% of bets placed over the last 24 hours named them as early favourites.

Nonetheless, viewers have predicted that the pair will certainly “sink” following their most recent disagreement. In Tuesday’s (June 23) episode, the two clashed after Jasmine voiced her thoughts on Aidan’s heated argument with newcomer Tina during a game at the fire pit.

Just the previous night (June 22), the new couple had a face-off after Aidan disclosed that he would rather be pursuing a relationship with his ex Yasmin, reports OK!.

Tina was left seething because Aidan failed to clarify to her that his priorities lay elsewhere. After the dispute, Kavan, Samraj, Jasmine, and Mica convened on the sundeck to discuss the argument.

The situation escalated when Jasmine attempted to explain her viewpoint, stating: “I hear Tina, to be fair. But Samraj and Kavan interrupted her before she could finish.

When the 27-year-old attempted to carry on with her statement, she was once again interrupted by the lads. “Wait, I’m talking,” she retorted after another interruption.

However, this didn’t sit well with Kavan who snapped: “Oh, chill out Jas.”

Taken aback by his remark, Jasmine responded: “Don’t tell me to chill out, Kav. I’m being serious. Don’t ever do that again.”

Jasmine then rose and walked away, leaving Kavan feeling like a chastised schoolboy.

Despite the pair later resolving their disagreement, Kavan made it clear he would always defend his brother, even if it caused tension with Jasmine. This has led viewers at home to believe the couple won’t stand the test of time.

Taking to X, previously known as Twitter, one viewer commented: “Jasmine and Kavan not gonna work on the outside #loveisland,” while another concurred: “There’s just no chance those two work Imao.”

Another person chimed in: “Finally the Kavan and Jasmine ship is sinking #loveisland.”

A third fan predicted: “Jasmine and Kavan communication styles is going to break them up eventually.”

Love Island is streaming on ITVX
