Grand Theft Auto VI is now available to pre-order in the UK, and savvy shoppers can save more than £16 on the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S game via a TopCashback deal

Gamers can finally get their hands on their copy of Grand Theft Auto VI as pre-orders launch across the UK. Rockstar Games made the title available at 12am on Thursday (June 25) in advance of its November 19 launch date, and there’s a hack to secure a substantial discount through a smart release offer.

At The Game Collection, shoppers can now place their pre-order for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S editions, with the standard version costing £69.95. Yet clever buyers can slash this by more than £16 by creating a complimentary TopCashback account.

By doing this, new members will earn a £15 welcome bonus plus cashback when purchasing from The Game Collection.

When combined, these benefits mean GTA VI can be brought down to £53.78 following cashback, representing total savings of £16.17 – arguably among the cheapest prices available. This offer is solely accessible to new TopCashback members and all Game Collection customers, while current TopCashback members will pay £68.78 following cashback.

The Game Collection isn’t the sole retailer accepting pre-orders, with Amazon and Argos amongst those now stocking GTA VI. A physical edition of the title includes a download code instead of a conventional disc, with the game becoming accessible from November 12 to enable pre-loading.

Those ordering before November 20 will also bag the Vintage Vice City Pack, a bundle of items featuring cars and weapons drawn from the franchise’s cherished ’80s-themed entry, reports Birmingham Live. Rockstar is also presenting a GTA VI Ultimate Edition that delivers ‘an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel and action, including a ’95 Grotti Cheetah and revolvers with classic Vice City stylings.

GTA VI is situated in that same fictional metropolis inspired by Miami, in the state of Leonida, and focuses on protagonists Jason and Lucia. The official synopsis states: “Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them.

“But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida – forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.” For players requiring a console upgrade ahead of GTA VI’s launch, Raylo is providing the PS5 Pro from £18.95 on a 36-month subscription, with shorter packages available for those prepared to pay more.

Alternatively, here’s how to pre-order GTA VI on PS5 or Xbox for £53.78.
