Love Island confirms Casa Amor return date and it’s hours away

The Islanders are about to face their biggest test yet as Casa Amor is confirmed to return very soon

The Love Island villa is about to be rocked as the Casa Amor twist makes its long-awaited comeback.

The fan favourite segment sees the boys and girls split up and introduced to a fresh wave of bombshells, all determined to catch their eye and secure a lasting place in the villa.

Every year the Islanders must decide whether to succumb to temptation and pair up with one of the newcomers, or remain faithful to their existing partner.

Viewers have been left hanging while awaiting confirmation of when the major twist would arrive, and it appears they won’t be waiting much longer. During Friday evening’s (June 26) episode, it was revealed that Casa Amor will make its return this Sunday night (June 28).

The announcement follows closely after a recent recoupling ceremony where the boys selected the girls. While they appeared largely satisfied with their fresh pairings, the approaching twist threatens to create absolute chaos, reports OK!

Last year the segment produced one of the series’ most explosive moments, when Tommy Bradley emerged from Casa Amor alongside makeup artist Lucy Quinn, leaving the entire villa stunned. Meanwhile his partner, Emily Moran, had remained faithful to him, resulting in her being ruthlessly eliminated from the programme.

Tommy and Lucy’s romance was engulfed in controversy, as while Lucy was in the villa her mate on the outside had shared a voice message from her, which seemed to expose her strategy to triumph in the show before even entering Casa Amor.

In it, the bombshell could be heard saying: “I’ve got a phone call today by the way, saying they want to fly me out on Tuesday or Monday. So they said to me on Sunday they’ll let me know for 100 per cent, but looks like I’m f*****g going on one of those days. So they were like, get your stuff packed basically.

“I was like, ‘I’m already packed love’. They asked me for my top three boys. And told them, I said, ‘Tommy, I want Tommy.’ I feel like if I’m with Tommy I feel like I’ll get all the way to the end.”

Following her exit from the programme alongside Tommy, she tackled the voice note on Love Island companion show Aftersun. She explained: “I did say till the end, but it weren’t the final, I meant the end… I would like to be with him in the future.”

Regrettably, the pair went their separate ways not long after departing the villa.
