Australian actress Ruby Rose has been hospitalised with two broken ribs after slipping on the ledge of her swimming pool.
The Orange Is the New Black star, 40, had been trying to spray a part of her back garden that overlooked the pool. She shared a clip of the nasty accident on social media and was seen carrying a hose and edging across the side of the pool.
However, she lost her balance and smashed her ribs on the edge of the pool as she fell into the water. Rose was seen clutching at her ribs in the water in agony after the fall.
She still managed to see the funny side of the blunder as she made a Monopoly joke in the caption. She wrote: “RIP to my ribs, and the rest of my summer.
“They are broken, multiple. Straight to hospital, did not pass go or collect $200,” alongside a laughing and crying emoji. She added on Threads: “One second I’m here talking to you. The next I’m in the hospital with two broken ribs. What a bl***y Monday.”
It’s not the first time the US-based star has been hospitalised with an injury. Back in 2019, she was taken to hospital after performing a stunt for her role in the Batwoman TV series.
