Nicola Peltz previously called Harper her ‘perfect dream little sister’, but the actress has since ‘replaced her’ – which sources say has left Harper heartbroken
Harper Beckham has reportedly been left devastated by her sister-in-law Nicola Peltz’s latest dig. It comes as the feud between the Beckhams and Brooklyn continues to rumble on.
Two years ago, Brooklyn’s actress wife Nicola, 31, called Harper, 14, her “perfect dream little sister”. But it seems David and Victoria’s youngest may have fallen from grace, with Nicola hailing a new “dream sister” – her brother Will Peltz’s new bride, Kenya Kinski-Jones.
Last week, Nicola, posted a gushing tribute celebrating 40 year old Will’s wedding to Kenya, 33. She penned: “This wedding was truly one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever had the privilege of witnessing − Willy, thank you for finally and officially giving me my dream sister, Ken.”
Now, a source has said the teenager can’t help but feel hurt by the remarks. “Nicola’s ‘sister’ remark feels like a dig at the Beckhams, who are taking it personally,” the source said.
“It feels like Harper has been caught in the crossfire of the Beckhams’ fight and she’s in the middle of it all. All she wants is to see her brother,” according to the Mirror.
Brooklyn, 27, cut ties with his family − including his sister − in his explosive Instagram statement in January. He claimed he had been “controlled” by his parents and accused them of “trying endlessly” to sabotage his and Nicola’s relationship.
Until now, Harper has managed to avoid becoming embroiled in the spat between her brother and the rest of her family. Back in February, a source told new Brooklyn still “really cares for” his sister, adding that Nicola was devastated by the prospect she and Harper may no longer be able to spend time together.
Previously, Nicola had nothing but praise for Harper, telling one interviewer in 2022, “I wanted a little sister so bad and Harper is the sweetest. I have the coolest little sister. She sends me Snapchats.”
Harper, meanwhile, is said to have idolised Nicola, who she saw as a big sister. In 2024, they attended the premiere of Lola − Nicola’s directorial debut − together.
Regrettably for Harper, the rift between Brooklyn and his family has only deepened, and their disagreement now seems to be affecting her as well. The insider revealed: “It’s really painful for her, because she genuinely misses Brooklyn.
“They had a very nice and close relationship. Out of all the brothers she looked up to him, so she’s really feeling it.”
Last month, she received another setback when she turned up “unannounced” at Brooklyn and Nicola’s LA home while she was in the US to see her dad receive his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Her visit was said to have lasted less than a minute, as Brooklyn and Nicola were out of town.
The following day, a spokesperson for Brooklyn lambasted the Beckham family, labelling Harper’s visit as “choreographed for the cameras”. While Harper is likely still reeling from Nicola’s post, we understand the entire family has been impacted by the high-profile wedding.
“It is another slap in the face amid the feud,” our source revealed. “This whole thing has taken a real toll on Harper and the family. Victoria is distraught, but the more she tries to reach out, the more Brooklyn goes the other way. She finds it all embarrassing.”
