Love Island fans fume ‘not fair at all’ as two stars forced to leave in controversial vote

Love Island fans were left furious at the two stars were eliminated from the villa in a disorganised and confusing vote

The Love Island villa has seen another shake-up with two stars being asked to leave the show tonight (June 21).

This evening, the Islanders were tasked with voting in their couples for another pair who they believed to be the least compatible in the group and should be sent packing.

After initially receiving a text announcing the imminent arrival of pop sensation Bebe Rexha to the villa, the excitement was short-lived. Sean quickly received a follow-up message that read: “But before the party gets started, you’ve got a big decision to make. In your couples, you must now decide which couple you think is the least compatible and therefore doesn’t deserve a place in the villa.”

As the votes were unveiled, it became apparent that there were two couples in particular who were singled out by their fellow Islanders.

Tommy Murphy and newcomer Halle Brown as well as Mica Harris and her bombshell partner Chidi received four votes each, leading to a tie-break situation.

The four Islanders were asked to stand before their co-stars and fight for their place on the show. Halle was first to defend her position, laying the blame squarely on Tommy saying it’s not fair she’s going down with him, reports OK!

“I don’t think it would be fair for me to go home based on someone else’s opinions,” she said. Meanwhile, her fellow bombshell Chidi also mentioned there were a “couple of connections” he wanted to explore, and he had a disagreement with Tommy who accused him of “pussyfooting around.”

Mica found it hard to argue her point as she burst into tears. “Maybe I think I should go,” she admitted. “Honestly, like I’ve tried. I don’t know.”

Ultimately, the decision was handed over to the larger group as the four in jeopardy couldn’t reach a consensus, resulting in newcomers Halle and Chidi being voted off in a highly contentious vote.

“This is why the PUBLIC should vote wtf,” one viewer raged. “Saving Tommy made no sense what so ever,” wrote another.

“Wow they sent the 2 bombshells home that’s RAVING,” a third chimed in. A fourth exclaimed: “Lmao this is not fair at all, OGs have had multiple chances.”
