Love Island fans are convinced no couples will survive after ITV confirmed the explosive Movie Night episode date
Devoted Love Island fans have forecast that no couple will survive another fortnight as the date for Movie Night was finally revealed.
Viewers have just endured three explosive days packed with snogging, as the Casa Amor twist arrived and departed. The Islanders, particularly the lads, were left confronting the aftermath of their behaviour and choices following a dramatic recoupling.
Footage aired during Friday’s (July 3) episode showed the drama continuing to unfold. There were discussions between the newest contestants and original girls as they tried to ‘clear the air’.
It wasn’t entirely successful however, as some, including Julia and Lola, carried on their blazing row into the night. They weren’t alone as we also witnessed Lorenzo and Yasmin, Kavan and Charleen, Kavan and Jasmine, Mica and Samraj, Simba and Angelista, Simba and Mara, Aidan and Martha as well as Lorenzo and Yasmin also exchange some heated words.
Nevertheless, the teaser shown at the episode’s conclusion revealed that the series’ most eagerly awaited moment is imminent. The sneak peek confirmed that Movie Night will occur on Sunday (July 5), reports OK!
For those unfamiliar, Movie Night involves the Islanders watching footage and conversations from throughout the villa that they might not have witnessed. It typically always leads to blazing arguments and even risks destroying relationships entirely.
Deceptions and hidden truths are frequently revealed and the islanders get the opportunity to witness precisely how conversations unfolded and whether flirtatious or disrespectful conduct took place behind their backs.
Viewers tuning in from home have been eagerly awaiting Movie Night for at least the past week and were swift to express their anticipation.
Following all the furious disputes that left numerous couples hanging by a thread, one person forecast that Movie Night might spell the end for them all. They wrote on social media: “Guys none of [these] couples are [gonna] last two weeks after the finale never mind Movie Night. I’m dead.”
Another contributed: “I need a compilation of Samraj moments talking his nonsense on Priya, that man’s true colours need to be shown.”
Someone else remarked: “All the ships are breaking. No one is in this Villa for love, to be honest.”
Meanwhile, some identified the real victors after they were amongst the few who managed to avoid coming to blows. They said: “So it’s settled. Either Ellie and Finley or Yasmin and Tommy are winning.”
While one person responded: “No coupling, no challenge, just a full episode of pettiness I love it.”
Another viewer observed: “They’re definitely going to show Jordon telling Jasmine he isn’t attracted to Priya. That little conversation they just had was foreshadowing what’s to come.”
Meanwhile, a fan commented: “Yes Roll the Tapes! Jasmine I think you’re forgetting your ‘Affair’ and flirting with Lorenzo….baby girl sit down.”
Love Island continues Sunday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
